You’ll be joining a growing organisation in the UK of over 250 associates at one of the UK’s leading distributors of industrial automation and control products.

 

ARE YOU THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

The Vision Sales Consultant will be responsible for providing technical knowledge, advice and support to external customers, whilst also doing new business development of profitable Vision business in line with company targets. The role will consist of developing existing accounts and new business development targets with technical and commercial solutions.

  • The job calls for a person who enjoys dealing with people, creating and maintaining relationships as well as making a good impression both personally and for the organisation.
  • Extensive experience in Vision and code reading applications is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of Automation, Control and architecture would be advantageous.
  • The role holder will have the ability to provide practical solutions, solve problems and look for continuous improvements for both the customer and the company.
  • This is a solution sales role so candidates must have the ability to be able to sell the benefits of the proposal to the customer

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibility for the profitable growth of the Vision business in their relevant geographical area.
  • To promote the day-to-day activity of Vision business and third-party complementary products.
  • Be responsible for developing their own new opportunities alongside working with the UK sales team around identified opportunities brought to the Consultant.
  • To be instrumental in converting New Business development opportunities and priority target accounts.
  • To offer training, advice and assistance to their local branches.
  • Attend joint customer visits with Account Managers and technology partner engineers.
