They provide global solutions for electric motors, variable frequency drives, soft starters, controls, panels, transformers and generators.

The role:

They are seeking a conscientious and self-motivated candidate to fulfil a Junior Internal Sales Engineer.

What you’ll do as a Junior Internal Sales Engineer:

On the job training and mentoring will be provided to principally cover the following key areas of your role:

• Develop in-depth product range competencies:
• Industrial Motors. Drives & Control Gear. Gearboxes.
• Understand how to effectively interpret customer product & application requirements.
• Enquiry management; from receipt through to quotation issue and order hand-over.
• Have daily contacts with company departments both locally & throughout the world.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• The ability to work under pressure and meet KPI targets adopting a positive, calm & level-headed approach.
• Confident with general Microsoft Office packages.
• Minimum GSCE Maths & English (Grade C/ 4) & ideally qualified to C&G or above in a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline.
• 2yrs+ experience in a customer services role.
• Previous industry experience with Electrical or Power Transmission products is advantageous.
