Components Product Sales Specialist
This is a technical role as part of the overall sales function.
ARE YOU THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
A Components PSS is responsible for providing technical knowledge, advice and pre-sales support to external customers, to develop profitable IC and Safety & Sensing Components sales growth in line with company goals, targets and objectives. The role encompasses the development of existing accounts and new business development with technical sales solutions.
- Responsibility for assisting with the profitable growth of the Components business in the Southwest.
- To offer technical training, advice and assistance to internal and external personnel.
- Attend joint customer visits with Account Managers, Sales Managers, Technology Partner Account Managers and other external sales teams.
- Communicate and interface with Service Centres and other departments on technical and commercial issues and portray a professional image at all times.
- Responsibility for delivering relevant workshops to our customer base within their geographic area.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
- HNC/HND or higher in electrical engineering (or equivalent electrical engineering qualification) is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the application and selection of IC and Safety & Sensing Components is required.
- It is important that the role holder has experience in industrial sales.
- The successful applicant will have the ability to provide effective technical solutions, solve problems and endeavor to provide continuous benefits for both the customer and the company.
